About the Lodge

The Lions Lair Lodge is unlicensed but has a communal Lounge to relax in with a large screen Smart television that has satellite channels plus free to air and internet stations, free Satellite Wireless internet access and a Pool Table. A great place to gather and make new friends after a good day on the slopes!

For most of the winter season the Lodge is surrounded by snow which makes it a great place for the little ones to play around in and build the obligatory snowman. The Lodge itself is strictly a Non Smoking facility both inside and externally within the property’s boundaries.

Due to the convenient location you only have 250 metres to walk to the chairlifts at Smiggin Holes (great for the beginners, intermediate and those who have not been for a while) and from where you can catch the free shuttle bus service to Perisher Valley – no need to take the car!

We have a limited number of Car Park spaces subject to availability and which can be requested when you reserve your accommodation. In such cases an overnight(s) National Parks Entry Pass must still be purchased on entering the Park and clearly displayed as instructed along with the Parking Permit provided upon arrival and which is included in your rate.

Alternatively you can park your vehicle at Bullocks Flat Ski Tube car park, head on to the Alpine Way towards Thredbo from Jindabyne, and then catch the ski tube to Perisher and the shuttle bus to Smiggin Holes.
